Introduction

JMSChirp is a web-based JMS browser. Currently, JMSChirp caters to the following JMS vendors

• Apache ActiveMQ (5.8.0)
• Tibco EMS (7.0)

Features

JMS connection

JMS connection constitutes of connection properties required to connect to a JMS vendor.
Following activities are possible with connections:

• Test a connection for validity before saving
• Edit a saved connection
• Delete a saved connection

View connection details

Clicking on a saved connection will lead to the connection details page.
The connection details page will list all the queues present in the connection.
Following are the highlights

• The queue listing - The content of the queue can be viewed by clicking on a queue name in the listing.
• Summary tab - Shows the pending message count , message size against each queue.

Clicking on a queue name from the queue listing on the connection details page will open a tab in the same page.
The queue tab will list down the messages in terms of JMSMessageId, MessageType etc.
Clicking on a JMSMessageID will show the actual message content.
